Konner has come home today. He is scheduled to go to Boston tomorrow. His blood cell counts will need to be monitored as they are expected to drop low a few days after his last treatment. He will also need to be watched for any fevers.

The day was full with travel to Boston and meeting with doctors to discuss collecting Konner's stem cells. Konner's white blood cell count will be monitored and when they are high enough he will need to go back to Boston to begin his stem cell collection. Doctors expect Konner's counts will be high enough between December 7-10th to return to Boston. The procedure could take only 1 or up to 4 days, depending on how much stem cells they collect with each procedure. The collection of stem cells will then be stored so when Konner needs his stem cell replacement.

Konner returned back to Fletcher today. His begin a fever in the morning which increased throughout the day. Konner and Becky were unable to attend the benefit dinner and missed seeing everyone to thank personally. The benefit dinner was a great success!

Konner's blood cell counts were low and he was still running a slight fever so will remain at Fletcher. The doctors have given him antibiotics and anticipate he will be at the hospital until Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.

Konner still had a fever and has been put on a third antibiotic. He also received a blood transfusion today. Konner has not had much of an appetite but doctors say that could be due to the fever and antibiotics.

No fever yet today but Konner's counts still remain low. He will receive another blood transfusion today. The doctors say it is normal for his counts to take a little longer to come up due to being farther into chemo treatments.

Konner is still at Fletcher. Although he has not had a fever the doctors are waiting for his blood cell counts to come back up.

Received a call from Boston today and Konner's counts are high enough that they want to begin collecting stem cells on Monday morning.

Konner will head to Boston today so he will be there for first thing in the morning. They will begin collecting his stem cells to store for future use. Depending on how many they collect with each procedure will determine how long he will be in Boston.

Konner had the stem cell collection procedure done. The procedure was completed by 5pm in order to send the collection to the lab to determine if the procedure will need to be repeated for tomorrow.

Konner was able to collect enough stem cells with the one procedure so will be able to come home today.

Konner had to go to Fletcher today for a check-in. He has a start to a cold that will need to be watched.

Konner went to Fletcher today to have a scan done to see if the chemo has made any progress. He also had bone marrow taken. Konner was sore because of the bone marrow collection and a sore throat. He will remain at Fletcher for the night and receive his chemo treatment beginning tomorrow as long as he is feeling well. The results of the scan are expected tomorrow.

The results of the scan came back and were good. The various spots can no longer be seen on the scan and the tumor on his gland has shrunk. His bone marrow also came back clear of cancer. Konner started his first chemo treatment of this cycle today. The chemo will be stronger than the previous cycles so are expected to make him feel worse.

Konner received his chemo treatments over the weekend. He has been feeling worse with these treatments and has been sick. The doctors have had to give him medicine for be nauseas.

After a long week Konner came home today. Although he is still not not eating much he is no longer getting sick. We are planning to have a good quiet Christmas at home. Konner has a lot of gifts from many people.

Konner went back to the hospital today as he still could not keep anything down.

Konner is feeling better today. They are giving him medicine to make him less nauseous and he has been able to keep food down.
