Konner's numbers are low again. On Monday he will be going for another scan for doctors to evaluate before having his surgery. If everything goes as hoped and his numbers are up, he may have his surgery by the end of next week.

Konner had a good weekend. He was able to go to the Winter Softball games and watch the teams play. Konner's scan was rescheduled for this afternoon instead of yesterday. The results will need to be reviewed by the doctor for his surgery.

Konner's surgery has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 17th.

Konner is still scheduled for his surgery tomorrow. After surgery he will go on to receive his last chemo treatment for his first round of chemo treatments.

Konner has come out of surgery. The doctor advised the tumor had shrunk in size and from an eye view believes they have removed all of the tumor. The tumor will be sent to the lab to test if there was any live cancer cells. The results are expected to take a few days.

They removed the tubes today and Konner can now eat. We are waiting to hear when they plan to do the next chemo treatment. The results of his biopsy were very good.

Konner started his chemo treatment today. This chemo treatment will be given for three days.

Konner come home yesterday. He is feeling very well. We are waiting to hear from Boston on when they will schedule Konner to begin his stem cell transplant.

Konner will be going to Boston tomorrow for a consultation visit regarding the stem cell replacement. More information will be provided in tomorrow's meeting but they are expecting Konner to begin the stem cell replacement procedure in the third week in April.

The consultation went over what to expect when Konner will be in Boston for his stem cell replacement. The first week will be intensive chemo and the receiving his own stem cells that were collected. He will be restricted to whom he can see. There has been no specific date given when Konner will be going to Boston. Test will need to be done prior to going in order to see if any damage has occurred and to compare to after. (heart, kidney, lungs, eyes, hearing, teeth, ect.). It is anticipated Konner will remain in Boston 4-6 weeks as long as no complications occur.
